Great Dancing comes from Great Music!

Ballrooms

"I-Love-To-Dance" - This is my favorite dance because I believe that not only is dancing beautiful, but the music HAS to be.   I don't mind that the music is not strict tempo, I want to dance to music that inspires us all to dance better.  Traditional ballroom music leaves my soul lifeless.  I do play strict ballroom tempo music for Slow Foxtrot, Viennese, and Quickstep

Grand Ballroom - Newer and Bigger, considered to be the mecca of Ballroom in Western Canada.  They used to offer American Social Ballroom, but now their strength is International.  They have lots of instructional DVD's for sale, and offer dancing every Friday and Saturday.

Crystal Ballroom - Beautiful venue, I've never been there but hear the dancers are quite friendly.  Considering my website currently uses 84 meg of space out of 2 gig available and costs me $140.00 a year to host, I don't understand why a beautiful ballroom like this resorts to using (as Bill Mckinnon does) Tripod.com with it's annoying pop-ups to host their website - except that it's free hosting.  They have dances every day of the week.

Vancouver Ballroom - Elegant with a nice floor, I've been here a few times.  They also have Friday and Saturday night dancing.
